Payment for Services

Dr. Herkov and North Florida Clinical Psychology are a "fee for service" practice which means that we do not accept any third-party payment such as that from health insurance or government programs such a Medicare or Medicaid.  By not accepting third-party payment we are able to:

• Reduce overhead and provide our clients with lower overall service rates

• Tailor our services to what you need without a third-party deciding the type and frequency of service we provide

• Keep your sessions confidential.  Filing for third-party payment often requires that we supply them with confidential information such as your diagnosis or private details from your sessions. Most of our clients are professionals who want to keep any record of treatment of them or their families private.

For your convenience forms of payment for services include:

• Cash
• Check

We realize that people oftentimes find themselves in need of assessment and treatment during a crisis time in their lives when they may have limited financial resources.  Thus, we can sometimes provides services for free or at a reduced rate.
